The multinational company Adveo chose our paper filling systems.

Adveo, a Spanish multinational based in Madrid, has been operating in Italy for 10 years in the office products distribution market.

Since 2006, Adveo hasbeen buying packaging material from Raj apack, and in particular chose Rajapack to equip itself with the Ranpak paper filling system.

  • Why did you choose Rajapack? Which service do you consider most important?

I got to know Rajapack thanks to receiving its catalogue, which punctually presented interesting products; the territorial proximity also favoured the final choice of purchase.

I was positively impressed by the sales model adopted by Rajapack as it is very similar to that of Adveo; a model focused on service and final customer satisfaction.

  • Adveo decided to rely on Rajapack for packaging systems. What kind of systems do you use? How did the need to use packaging systems arise?

We wanted to optimise the void-filling process, which until then had been carried out with air bearings, so we decided to test paper filling.

With the Fillpak TT Cutter, we placed a machine at the end of each line, making the filling process much easier .

We were also able to improve our environmental impact by using an easily recyclable material such as paper, thereby strengthening our corporate image with the end customer.

  • In March 2012 you rented 2 Fillpak TT Cutters and then expanded your plant in October 2012 for a total of 5 machines: are you satisfied? What tangible benefits have you seen in production? Have packaging times decreased?

Our aim was not to decrease production times, which were already low, but to improve service. With the Rajapack system, we found that each package was well filled and protected to the benefit of customer satisfaction.

  • In what sense has customer satisfaction improved significantly?

The level of service has increased because, by filling all spaces properly, the products arrive in perfect condition.

For us, impeccable service is essential.

  • Rajapack offers ad hoc installation and training, was the course offered useful? What is your opinion of the service you received?

The machine is intuitive and easy to use, but the installation and training service was invaluable to us.

During the consultancy we also had the help of a Ranpak engineer who carried out a consumption survey in order to be able to optimise our installation.

All in all, a very good consultancy service.

  • Are the operators satisfied with the system? Was the use of the Fillpak TT Cutter a shared or an imposed choice?

Definitely shared.

I think that if we were ever to remove the system all the operators would complain.

The work is better organised now.

  • How would you rate the machine rental service offered by Rajapack? Did you have to turn to the service department? If yes, how would you rate the assistance you received?

Excellent.

We turned to the after-sales service and received immediate and decisive intervention.
