The pallet must be elevated. The 4 corners must be free. The film must be retracted under the pallet, ensuring strong cohesion between the pallet and its load.
Start retracting from the base of the pallet, maintaining a constant distance of about 30 cm. Then retract each side from the bottom upwards, finishing with the top. Direct the flow of hot air perpendicular to the sides of the pallet.
Once the base of the pallet has been retracted, continue the operation for each side and proceed across the width of the side from bottom to top. Once the 4 sides are done, retract over and direct the flow of hot air over the pallet.
Caution: since the film is already stretched for the retraction of the sides, less heat must be applied in order to avoid total deterioration of the liner.
Due to its constitution, the shrink film continues its shrinkage after applying heat, for a variable period, also depending on the quality of the film, its thickness and the type of load. Therefore, only move the pallet when the liner is stretched and cooled. Finally, check the integrity of the liner and the packaged products before storing.
