Packaging ideas for planning a wedding with flair
Preparing for a wedding puts everyone to the test.
Here are some ideas that can make your life easier and get you to the big day with lightness and originality.
Wedding bags
The wedding is a tour de force for you but also for your guests.
Wedding bagsare nice envelopes that are very useful.
They contain the survival kit for the wedding: rice cone, fan (for those getting married in summer), water, car rosette, map to the restaurant, refreshing wipes…
You can have them for guests outside the church: they are great for passing the time while waiting for the bride.
You can choose neutral shopping bags with twisted handles or envelopes with flat havana handles, closed with a simple radical-chic raffia ribbon.
Personalised ones are undoubtedly impressive. Keep in mind, however, that in this case the envelopes are not immediately available, it takes about 4 to 5 weeks to make them, so get ahead of the game!
Tissue paper flowers
Who doesn’t like flowers? But they are known to make a big impact on the wedding budget.
So why not surprise everyone with graceful floral decorations made of tissue paper? The trick is to buy tissue paper in the same shade as the real flowers and alternate them.
You can hang the decorations, arrange them as centrepieces, hang them from the pews during the ceremony…
Here’s how to do it:
1) Accordion-fold 7 sheets of tissue paper (size and colour as desired) one on top of the other.
2) Round off the ends with scissors
3) Take a white or transparent sewing thread to knot your strip in half. Leave one end very long, you will need it to hang the decoration.
4) Gently open the petals one by one. Be very careful because tissue paper is fragile.
You can’t help but be thrilled with the result!
Remember, however, to engage a few friends: the work is long and requires a lot of patience.
The sugared almonds and their packaging
You can choose classic white ones with an almond filling or opt for coloured ones with a chocolate heart. However, it is essential that they are an odd number, usually 5.
They must always be accompanied by a souvenir card with the names of the bride and groom. That of the bride will strictly precede that of the groom.
You can opt for the ethereal lightness of traditional organza bags or indulge in unusual packaging, where all it takes is a pair of decorative scissors to transform a simple paper bag into a refined container.
Either way, don’t forget the must-have! The sugared almonds and their packaging should match the shades of the bride’s dress.
TABLE LISTS
Creating a Tableau De Mariage or place cards to match the colours of your wedding requires little.
Simply alternate the colours of the paper used.
To create eye-catching frames, all you need is white office paper, which you will then cut out together with coloured cardboard or, for the more “eco-friendly”, brown paper and some double-sided adhesive gum or repositionable spray glue to stick the sheets together.
Wedding favours

Succulents are symbolic of a wedding that will withstand even the harshest conditions. Eco-chic are perfectly in line with the new trend of eco-friendly weddings.
Best of all, they are inexpensive and all you need to present them is simple havana kraft paper, even recycled!

Why not give your wine as a gift?
A word of advice, apart from those on display, have the bottles stored in bags, perhaps with a window, they will make it easier for guests during transport.
A frame with a photo of you? With a simple and impressive presentation you will impress everyone.
All you need are flat cardboard boxes, string, cardboard labels and why not? Personalised adhesive tape.
A memorable joke?
Just leave a few pads of coloured post-it notes, some biros and a sign inviting you to leave a message.
In no time there could be surprising consequences. And the post-its will always stick, just like you!
Last but not least if you have already organised everything impeccably but the stress just won’t go away, break out the bubble wrap!
