CURTAIN-RAISER GAME IS BORN, WILL BE SHIPPED WITH RAJAPACK BOXES
From an idea of baritone Simone Tansini, comes ‘Sipario chi è di scena’, an amazing box game that immerses you in the extraordinary vitality of the opera house. It will be distributed through an e-commerce site and at numerous Italian theatres. To play, one does not need to be a melomaniac; on the contrary, ‘Sipario’ draws everyone into the world of music, ecumenically.
Playing with opera is the best way to discover or rediscover it. Through ludus, one can take on the role of a theatre impresario. You can lift the velvet curtain that separates real life from ‘behind the scenes’, and you can organise the best opera season of all time. By what means? All: licit and not. The game takes you through four centuries of music, from Monteverdi to Shostakovic, moving between resounding cues and great performers, love escapes and unbelievable flops, all manner of baseness and sublime melodies. Curtain!
- Why did you choose Rajapack?
I was driving along the Piacenza-Turin motorway on my way to a game presentation when I saw the sign of your warehouse in the Castel San Giovanni logistics centre.
- Which of our services did you find most useful?
The vastness of your catalogue. I was looking for boxes with particular sizes that I could not find anywhere. Some box makers had asked me for a minimum purchase of 1000 boxes and the initial cost of the die cut. You already had the sizes I was looking for in stock and gave me the opportunity to test the boxes by buying low quantities at a very good price. I also really appreciated the Variaboxes, the cardboard boxes with the variable height that I can adapt according to shipping.
- Are you satisfied with the quality of the packaging?
Yes, I tested not only the boxes but also adhesive tapes and bubble film with excellent results! I particularly appreciated the convenience of having one supplier for all packaging.
- When was the game presented to the public and what are the next dates?
At the Torre del Lago Festival in August I officially presented the game and then last week at the Municipal Theatre in Piacenza. Also in Piacenza the game will be distributed in the foyer of the theatre during the ‘premiere’ of the 2015/2016 season, then it will be the turn of Parma, Genoa, Bologna and Cremona.
Finally, always this October, there will be the big launch: at the Essen Fair, the largest in Europe for boxed games!
