Rajapack Italia celebrates its 10th anniversary with a new office plan.

The Piacenza-based company is part of the RAJA Group, Europe’s leading distributor of packaging to companies.
AFrench company created in 1954, Raja, named after its two founding partners, Rachel and Janine, is now present in 17 European countries with 21 subsidiaries and achieved a turnover of €475M in 2015.
The Italian subsidiary has contributed to the Group’s growth, distinguishing itself throughout Europe.

Concretely, what is our added value?
The vastness of the range and above all the security of finding products because they are constantly re-stocked and in stock.
Just last week we started with the installation of a new demand forecasting software, which will enable us to further increase our service level by improving processes and planning.
Our prices are competitive and guaranteed for six months, thanks to the buying power of a large Group and the partnerships we have built up over time.
the fast and free 24-hour delivery, which we have enhanced by integrating an express delivery service, which allows our customers to receive their goods even by 10.30 a.m. the morning after ordering.
The pursuit of innovation at all levels, service, product and process, encouraging the ideas of all collaborators and comparing ourselves with our customers.
Some examples:
- we have also made our e-commerce usable from smartphones and tablets,
- we use text messages to remind people of an appointment or to give information about shipments,
- we have extended the cut-off time for orders until h17,
- we are able to organise the storage and distribution of tailor-made and non-tailor-made products for our larger customers, making scheduled and multi-site deliveries.
- We are always adding new solutions and green packaging to our offer.
- We give the possibility to customise products, request made-to-measure productions and offer a wide range of packaging and packaging machinery and systems.

This is precisely why, 10 years ago, in addition to Rajapack Italia, the Raja Danièle Marcovici Foundation was also founded, with the mission of defending women’s rights, educating and training them professionally through eco-sustainable projects.

A multi-channel business model
The key to our success is undoubtedly a multi-channel business model, which multiplies contact opportunities for customers who can choose the channel they prefer.
The main channels are:

- The e-commerce site
- The contact centre
- The field sales staff with whom we now cover the main regions in the North.

By the end of the year, we will also be launching an e-procurement service to facilitate the purchase of larger and more structured companies, giving them the opportunity to independently manage their own catalogue, which can consist of both standard and customised products .
Rajapack was also among the first BtB companies to have activated a widespread presence on the main social channels. We have our own blog that we constantly enrich with new posts.
In general, we continue to work on improving the content of our catalogue and our website by integrating videos, tutorials and data sheets to make the information more accessible and comprehensive.
