For exports, choose pressed wood pallets
Many people believe that special certificates are needed to export INKA’s light and strong pallets to countries such as China or the USA. They are wrong! These are ‘processed wood’ products that therefore do not carry organisms that are harmful to health, do not require any parasite treatment and do not need markings to certify them!
The advantages of INKA pallets:
1) ECONOMICAL:
They are much cheaper than plastic pallets, even in terms of the Conai Contribution. This is € 0.007/kg for INKA pallets, significantly less than the € 0.188/kg of a plastic pallet.
As an example, the Conai contribution for the 80 x120 INKA pallet(IPM7) is €0.056, while the Conai contribution for a plastic pallet of the same weight and size is €1.504.
If you export many pallets, these differences matter.
Not only that, INKA pallets are much lighter than normal wooden pallets, so the cost of couriers is also drastically reduced.
2)EXPORTABLE WORLDWIDE
Our packaging experts are often asked whether plastic pallets are indispensable for exports to China or the USA. The answer is: absolutely NO!
For exporting worldwide, you can use them:
- plastic pallets
- wooden pallets undergo HT high-temperature treatment, which involves heating the heart of the wood to 56° for at least 30 minutes. Treated wood can be recognised by the indelible IPPC mark in the shape of an ear of corn (indicating the code for the country, region and manufacturer that carried out the treatment).
- Inka pallets: these are manufactured from processed wood, so no HT treatment or fumigation or marking is required, according to the FAO ISPM15 international standard.
NO CERTIFICATES NEEDED
INKA certificates exist for exports to various countries around the world. They are available and we can send them immediately to all customers who request them from us. However, they are not compulsory. INKAs can be exported anywhere without accompanying documentation. With this type of pallet you stem all forms of bureaucracy.
3)ECOLOGICAL
INKA pallets are 80% recycled and biodegradable.
Furthermore, they come from sustainably managed PEFC (Programme for endorsement of forest certification) forests. In Europe, the areas dedicated to this type of planting are increasing every year and the area under trees is constantly growing.
4)ALWAYS AVAILABLE
In the Rajapack warehouse there are always hundreds of pallets available, which are delivered throughout Italy within 24/48 hours, in some areas, covered by the service, even by 10.30 a.m. the morning after the order. We are therefore always there, even for contingent needs.
5)SPACE-SAVING_ROBUST_INSULATING
INKA pallets can be easily stacked one on top of the other, saving 66% space compared to conventional EUROPALLETS.
They carry up to 900kg dynamic load, maintaining perfect balance and remain insensitive to humidity and temperature variations from -65% to +120°C.
