1min read 27/09/2017

Having a good packaging strategy and making the right packaging choices saves you time and costs.
This rule also applies to aspects that might seem secondary, such as the choice of adhesive tape.

In fact, there are all kinds of adhesive tapes on the market and understanding which one is the most suitable for your needs may not be so straightforward.

The most common materials are PVC, polypropylene and paper but, in turn, they undergo processes that further differentiate them to meet increasingly specific needs.

An example? Silent pol ypropylene tape and Hot Melt polypropylene tape are made of the same material but are very different. Why choose one over another? What are the differences between paper, PVC or polypropylene tape?

To answer these questions, we decided to create an infographic covering the most common types of tape that will help you juggle your choice of tape in no time!

An infographic to help you never again make a mistake when choosing adhesive tape:

In addition to these types, which are the most common, there are a wide variety of tapes on the market for specific uses: from burglar-proof to coloured tapes, there are masking tapes, insulation tapes, double-sided tapes, warning tapes and many more!
