What can you buy online?

3min read 13/11/2017

In the summer, a visit to the local markets and bazaars becomes a must on the agenda. No wonder – it is only there that we find young vegetables and fresh fruit, in a word seasonal delicacies. On the other hand, we are increasingly willing to do our basic grocery shopping for the home online. Why this change?

We choose online shopping above all for its favourable prices, time savings and undeniable convenience. Virtual shopping baskets are most often filled with clothes, shoes, electronics, household appliances, cosmetics, newspapers and books.

Trust in online shops is growing. This is evidenced by the fact that we are increasingly willing to buy products online that we would have chosen in person only a few years ago, such as food or building materials. This positive development is influenced by a number of factors, such as speed of delivery, comparable costs, but also certainly reliability and efficiency in the packaging of shipments.

It is worth emphasising that regardless of the price of the products, their size or construction, honesty towards the customer requires that they are delivered with attention to safety and maintaining their quality,” says Jarosław Kamiński, Managing Director of RAJAPACK Polska.

Remote purchasing

Large supermarket chains are taking advantage of the successful development of the e-commerce market and growing customer awareness by opening their virtual branches. Orders are completed using the resources of local outlets and delivered by a special courier fleet or wait in a designated shop.

If we wish, our supplies will be delivered right to our door. Shopping for a week’s supply for the home no longer means queuing at the checkout and taking long walks among the shelves. This kind of convenience is especially worthwhile for the elderly or those caring for young children, for whom a visit to the shop is a logistical challenge.

Unique articles

The increase in confidence in online shopping is particularly beneficial for smaller companies – both recognisable brands and private entrepreneurs who supply rare, hard-to-find, handmade products for a specific audience.

The development of the e-commerce segment has made it possible to buy unique articles online: home-made liquors, honey from private apiaries, handmade jewellery, original stationery and many others.

The boom in sales via the Internet and now also via mobile devices has inspired the packaging material industry to create products that allow the safe and yet aesthetically pleasing transmission of various orders. In the shop rajapack.co.uk we offer more than 2,500 shipping packages available the next day after ordering.

The propositions are tailored to the needs of customers with completely different businesses. Our largest customers include e-commerce companies with a diverse range of products, brands from the electronics, pharmaceutical and advertising sectors, as well as production, logistics and courier companies, ” says Jarosław Kamiński, Managing Director of RAJAPACK Polska.
