Accessories for packaging of pallets

When preparing goods for transport on pallets, it is necessary to protect them properly. Accessories for pallet packaging are mainly: cardboard angles and corners to protect the edges, cardboard spacers (also honeycomb type) for separating items, cardboard cones and stretch film.

Stretch wrapping film is undoubtedly one of the indispensable packaging accessories. It stabilises loads, especially heavy and irregularly shaped ones, which are transported on pallets. It is highly stretchable, so it shrinks and tightens around the wrapped items to ensure a firm hold.

The RAJA shop offers manual and machine stretch film, as well as heat-shrink film. Transparent or coloured manual film is used primarily for the transport of household appliances and white goods. Machine film, on the other hand, is used for the transport of bulky goods. It stiffens the load and prevents it from sliding off the pallet. It is tear-resistant and highly stretchable. Its inner surface is adhesive for even better adhesion. It can be purchased in black and transparent. The shrink film is very flexible and protects not only against damage, but also against contamination and moisture.

Stickers and parcel labels

Labels and parcel labels are very important accessories for packaging, as they serve for identification and protection. The shop offers: warning labels, shipping labels, marking labels, transport labels, courier labels and tilt sensors. They give instructions on how to transport goods. Thanks to them, the carrier is aware of what he is transporting and how to handle the consignment in order not to damage it. Parcel fillers

Parcel fillers are very useful accessories for packing parcels. Thanks to them, the contents of the parcel are additionally protected against shifting during transport. Bubble wrap, polystyrene chips, but also the natural filler Flo-pak, SizzlePak and even wrapping paper or paper cuttings are most commonly used to secure parcels. Bubble wrap is very popular as it is lightweight and absorbs shocks, vibrations and impacts very well. It also protects against moisture and provides thermal insulation. It is used for the shipment of delicate consignments, including but not limited to the shipment of consumer electronics and household appliances, books, furniture, glass objects, etc. RAJA offers bubble wrap in various sizes, with or without perforations, in rolls, as well as self-adhesive. Bubble foil is environmentally friendly as only 1% is foil and the rest is air.

A great alternative is the all-natural filler Flo-pak made from 100% corn starch. It is completely biodegradable when exposed to water and air within 9 to 60 months. Does not contain any toxic substances. Adjusts to the shape of the box.

Packing paper in crumpled form or as shreds also works well as a filler. It is environmentally friendly and recyclable.
