WrapPak® Protector is a packaging machine that produces paper protection from 100% recyclable kraft paper. In other words, renewable and biodegradable. It is the special design of the kraft paper that makes this packaging solution so sustainable and innovative. The corrugated paper construction provides flexibility in addition to the combined layers providing strength, cushioned protection and versatility. This means that this packaging machine can be used for a variety of tasks.
The WrapPak® Protector improves warehouse packing efficiency by converting kraft paper into packing pads. These allow you to customize protection based on the shape and size of the product. This means that one wrapping machine is used throughout the entire packing process!
Applications for WrapPak ®Protector in your packaging business:
Box lining:
Light protection – acts as a barrier between the product and the carton.
Wrapping:
Medium protection – packing several products together and separating items during transport.
Thermal insulation:
Thermal protection – helps to keep products in a cool or frozen state.
Locking and shock protection:
Heavy duty protection – limits and prevents movement when filling the void.
Multiple presets are available to automatically adjust paper lengths, quantities and frequency using the touch screen. A foot pedal can also be used for manual packing for on-demand production. Two separate packs of 1-ply kraft paper are automatically fed into the machine and converted into 2-ply sheets of kraft paper. Then the edges are punched, curled together and form the waveform for the pads. The result is paper pads that can be used to protect products and are ideal for warehouses with a varied product range requiring different types of protection and quality.
Paper packaging provides good protection for packages. Paper is a naturally good shock absorber that does not transfer pressure to other areas. It has good insulating properties, is easy to adapt and shape. This means that each carton can be packaged individually according to the specific product. And don’t forget the environmentally friendly aspects of paper packaging.
